CHOCOLATE REFLECTIONS

I RECENTLY HAD AN INTENSE SWEETS CRAVING AND DUG INTO THE LAST PIECE OF CHOCOLATE I WAS GIVEN AS A SOUVENIR FROM SOME LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE. I GRABBED A CHUNK OF MILK CHOCOLATE AND NOSHED ON ITS CORNER. SAVORING THE BITE, I LOOKED AT THE SQUARE. THE WORD "REFLECT" STARED BACK AT ME.

AT FIRST I WAS ANNOYED. I WAS ONLY LOOKING TO QUELL MY SWEET TOOTH, BUT WAS INSTEAD GETTING SOME SORT OF HEAVY LESSON, A REMINDER. THEN I STARTED TO FOLLOW ITS INSTRUCTIONS AND BEGAN RECALLING THE MINUTIA THAT HAS MADE UP THE BLISS OF MY LAST FOUR YEARS. I SMILED COMFORTABLY IN THESE MEMORIES AS THE SWEETNESS MELTED ON MY TONGUE.

THIS IS ALL TO SAY:
EAT MORE CHOCOLATE, IT CAN ONLY LEAD TO GREAT REMEMBERING.
